The group called the claim “bizarre” and said they found it absurd even at the time.
They then shared a specific airport lounge story: after shopping, the others walked ahead without noticing Nichkhun, who was wearing earphones and got left behind. When they later joked that him standing alone might restart the “bullying” talk, Nichkhun suddenly snapped, “You guys all ignored me, you damn…!” — the first time the members ever heard him swear. They described the moment as both shocking and oddly proud, noting his Korean had improved enough for him to deliver the line with confidence. One member recalled it as one of the most memorable scenes from their nearly 20 years together. The members stressed that the sensitivity of that period made everyone extra careful, but the rumor itself had no basis.
2PM debuted in 2008 under JYP Entertainment and quickly earned the “beast idol” label for their sharp choreography and powerful image. Nichkhun, often nicknamed the “Thai Prince,” brought an international flavor as the group’s only Thai member and helped expand their reach across Asia.
