According to a report by Korean media outlet Star News via Naver, NCT 127 will release their seventh studio album, BLINGY, on August 24 at 6 p.m. KST across global music platforms. The nine-track project centers on the group’s unique identity, reflecting on a decade of shared work while emphasizing pride in the team and the strength of “One Team.” The announcement frames the album as both a look back at their journey and a statement of intent to keep carving their own path.

NCT 127 debuted in July 2016 with a clear Seoul-rooted vision of taking stages worldwide. Over the years they delivered distinctive hits including “Fire Truck,” “Cherry Bomb,” “Regular,” “Kick It,” “Sticker,” “Fact Check,” and “Walk,” pairing sharp production with high-energy choreography. Four consecutive world tours filled stadiums, domes, and arenas, earning them a reputation as a live powerhouse. Their next tour, NEO CITY – THE REDLINE, is set for September, arriving right after this anniversary release and keeping the momentum high for longtime NCTzens.

International fans reacted quickly once the official teaser dropped. On X, the group’s post announcing BLINGY with the tagline “1+2+7=10” and the phrase “EVERYTHING, ALL AT ONCE, NEO” drew tens of thousands of likes and reposts within hours. Fans celebrated the return of the signature lime-green aesthetic, shared countdown posts, and opened group orders for the various album versions almost immediately.

Many called the timing perfect for the 10th anniversary and expressed readiness for the September tour dates that will follow the new music.
