Rising K-pop star Chihen of boy group AHOF has taken a significant step forward in his individual career, landing his debut solo modeling contract with international eyewear label KlassiC. The news, announced by F&F Entertainment on May 28, marks an exciting milestone for the young idol just as his group prepares for its first major Asia tour.

The partnership centers on KlassiC’s special collaboration collection inspired by the globally popular anime and webtoon series Solo Leveling. Brand representatives explained that Chihen was chosen specifically because his personal journey mirrors the protagonist Sung Jinwoo’s story of relentless growth through hardship. “Chihen’s real-life story of enduring intense trainee years from a young age before achieving his dream of debut perfectly aligns with the continuous growth narrative,” they noted.

In a thoughtful statement, Chihen shared his deep connection to the character. “When I first came to Korea alone at a young age and began trainee life, I faced countless challenges,” he said. “Each time, I grew little by little while continuing toward my dream of debut, so I deeply relate to Sung Jinwoo.” He expressed hope that the campaign would inspire fans facing their own struggles: “I hope to encourage those currently struggling in their own dungeons by reminding them that every moment of perseverance can become the strength that brightens the future.

Campaign images released alongside the announcement have already generated buzz. Chihen appears in sleek, dark ensembles with sharp, intense visuals that echo the fantasy atmosphere of Solo Leveling. His commanding presence and natural charisma shine through various eyewear styles, transforming the shoots into something that feels more like scenes from a cinematic fantasy production than a standard commercial.

This solo endorsement comes at a pivotal moment for AHOF, which is set to launch its “2026 AHOF 1ST TOUR: THE FIRST SPARK” with two Seoul dates on May 30 and 31 before heading to cities across Asia including Osaka, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, and more.

Industry watchers see Chihen’s selection as further validation of his rising appeal beyond group activities. At a time when many idols are expanding into fashion and acting, his authentic alignment with the brand’s theme positions him as a compelling new face in the modeling world. Fans are already expressing excitement over what this collaboration could mean for his future endeavors.
