AHOF Soars to First Music Bank Trophy with Electrifying 'Sugar High' Fan Victory

AHOF, it arrived with a serious sugar rush. On the June 18 episode of KBS2’s Music Bank (Episode 1296), the nine-member powerhouse clinched the Fan Stage Pick award for their pre-release single “Sugar High,” racking up an impressive 325,000 hearts through the Fancast app.

This wasn’t just a numbers game. They edged out BOYNEXTDOOR’sVIRAL” by nearly 100,000 votes (around 232K for BND), with izna’sMETRONOME” trailing far behind at about 11.5K. As a longtime K-pop fan who’s followed survival shows since the Produce era, I can tell you this win feels especially sweet for a group still building momentum less than a year after their official debut.

Formed through SBS’s Universe League and debuting in July 2025 under F&F Entertainment with the mini-album Who We Are, AHOF (short for All-Time Hall Of Famer, with “Ahop” meaning “nine” in Korean) brings together a multinational lineup: Steven, Jeongwoo, Woongki, Shuaibo, Han, JL, Juwon, Chihen, and Daisuke. Their high-energy Brazilian phonk-infused track “Sugar High,” dropped June 12 as a teaser for their upcoming third mini-album in July, delivered exactly the vibrant, addictive performance that fans craved.

FOHA’s Global Power Move FOHA – the fandom name meaning “Forever Our Home” or “Forever Our Hope, AHOF” turned voting into a true team sport. Coordinated campaigns across global chapters, complete with giveaways and relentless streaming pushes, proved decisive. One dedicated fan from the Philippines shared online how local chapters rallied late-night voting parties, turning individual efforts into a collective roar.

Industry watchers note this early win signals strong fan loyalty for rookies. “Groups that mobilize international fandoms this effectively often see sustained charting success,” says K-pop analyst Ji-hoon Park. Indeed, “Sugar High” has been climbing iTunes worldwide charts (+44 spots in one update) and performing solidly on Melon and other platforms.

With eyes now on Inkigayo and full comeback promotions, AHOF is proving they’re not just another rookie act they’re a force built for longevity. For FOHA, this trophy is more than hardware; it’s validation that their “Sugar High” is just the beginning of something addictive.
